Lamisil AT 1% Cream is an antifungal cream that helps eliminate the fungi that cause athlete’s foot. It contains terbinafine hydrochloride 1% and is formulated to provide relief from itching, burning and scaling which leads to athlete’s foot (tinea pedis).

Lamisil AT 1% Cream is applied to the skin 1 to 2 times a day for 7 days. Lamisil AT 1% Cream can provide relief from athlete’s foot up to 10 days for children and adults experiencing fungal skin infections such as tinea cruris, tinea corporis, tinea pedis. It is particularly useful for children and adolescents under 2 years of age to provide relief from athlete’s foot up to 12 months.

Lamisil AT 1% Cream is not for use in children under 2 years of age. For external use only. Use only on the affected area. Do not apply to skin of other sources.

I have been diagnosed with athlete’s foot. I am suffering from itching and burning in my feet. I also have some skin getting sensitive to light. My skin is red and irritated. I have tried to reduce the redness and sensitivity to light by applying light to my foot but I have experienced burning and itching. I am suffering from no apparent fungal infection in my foot. What can I do?

There are a few things I need to be aware of when I am treating athlete’s foot with Lamisil AT 1% Cream. I do not recommend using Lamisil AT 1% Cream if you are pregnant, nursing, or in a child bearing age 4 or older. I am not pregnant or nursing, but I am scared to try anything that could potentially affect my foot. I also don’t know what the product does to the fungus. It is important to know what product you buy at Walmart, Walgreens and CVS. Lamisil AT 1% Cream can cause allergic reactions including difficulty breathing, chest pain, and swelling. Stop using this product immediately and call your local doctor if you have any of these symptoms.

Lamisil Creamis a combination of two active ingredients, terbinafine and isosorbide dinitrate. Directions

Take this medicine by mouth once per day. Continue to take this medicine for as long as your symptoms are present, starting with a small dose. You may increase your dose any time. Do not increase or decrease the dose of this medicine or any medicine because your condition may become worse after taking the medicine for the first time. If the symptoms become worse, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor. If your symptoms have not improved within 2 weeks, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor. You may use this medicine for up to 4 weeks. Stopping this medicine too soon or slow may cause you to notice a decrease in in symptoms. Stopping this medicine too soon may cause your symptoms to return or cause your symptoms to improve slowly. However, do not stop taking this medicine after every four weeks. If your symptoms have not improved within 2 weeks, you may use this medicine for a few weeks. If your symptoms have not improved after 2 weeks, you may use this medicine for up to 2 weeks. If you are allergic to Lamisil or Terbinafine, or any of the other ingredients of this medicine. If you experience any of the below signs and symptoms, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Symptoms of an allergic reaction: hives, itching, swelling, skin rash, swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat. Indigestion. Stomach upset. Stuffy or cramping in your mouth or small groups of muscles. If these occur, urinate often. Swelling (reduced flow of blood) in the lungs, including shortening of the airways. Stuffy or runny nose.

Other symptoms of an interstitial nephritis (a disease in the kidney). It may occur 2 or more times in every 100 people. Contact your doctor if these develop:fever, pain, vomiting, nausea, constipation, breathlessness, soiling, and loss of appetite. These may be serious symptoms. Call your doctor if you have:signs of an allergic reaction to Lamisil or Terbinafine (Terbinafine)These may be signs of a more serious problem, such as:skin rash, swelling of the face or throatThese may be signs of kidney disease. A lower kidney function may be seen in some patients with diabetes. A lower kidney stone forming size. Yellowing of the skin or eyes. Difficulty breathing. Soreness or hardening of the skin, or fever. A fever that does not go away. You may need a hospital appointment if these develop.

Treatment may be needed for up to 4 weeks. Do not stop treatment suddenly. Ask your doctor about treatment. It is very important that you keep using this medicine and you will be fully cleared by your doctor for any further medicine treatment. Do not stop using this medicine if you have become ill. Contact your doctor for more information. This medicine may get worse or your symptoms may get worse and your symptoms may worsen.
